What you'd actually do

  1. Design, develop, implement, verify, and test high-quality software and simulation toolchains
  2. Work on a 6 degree of freedom (6DOF) simulation to design and test missile flight code
  3. Work with 6DoF simulation models to evaluate system performance
  4. Work with missile flight dynamics, autopilot and guidance design, and implementation into missile flight code
  5. Work with various trajectory optimization software and tools

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience or Master's degree with 0 years of professional experience (or equivalent experience)
  • C++ development in a Linux environment
  • MATLAB and Python toolchains

Nice to have

  • Master's or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Control systems theory and flight dynamics competence
  • Creating and maintaining analysis tools in C++, MATLAB and Python
  • Existing active and in scope Secret Clearance upon application
