Process Engineer responsible for maintaining process control activities for ammunition production lines, developing and ensuring compliance with process control plans, quality assurance plans, and procedures. The role involves resolving process upset conditions, reviewing process performance, leading Root Cause Corrective Actions, and developing capital projects for efficiency and safety.

What you'd actually do

  1. Correctly applies technical principles, theories, and concepts to develop Process Control Plans, resolve process upset conditions, review process performance, maintain key process metrics and lead Root Cause Corrective Actions, if necessary.
  2. Develops, maintains and ensures compliance with process control plans, quality assurance plans, and procedures.
  3. Ensures that the performance and quality of products within assigned product family conform to established standards, specifications and agency guidelines.
  4. Works directly with operating entities and Program Management to ensure that process control analyses, inspections, or audits are conducted on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet specifications.
  5. Ensures that the process control plans and policies are maintained and modified as needed.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelors degree in STEM field, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of experience or a masters degree in STEM.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
