What you'd actually do

  1. Define and maintain MBSE process standards and best practices, and champion MBSE adoption across engineering teams.
  2. Develop and refine system architectures and models using SysML or equivalent tools to capture system behavior, interfaces, and performance.
  3. Perform trade studies, architecture assessments, and model-based simulations to support design decisions.
  4. Manage requirements by capturing, decomposing, allocating, and tracing them throughout the model lifecycle, ensuring traceability to verification and validation.
  5. Generate design specifications and coordinate integration activities to ensure consistency and manage changes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 year of related professional/military experience.
  • Active US Government Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP)
  • Ability to work independently and identify solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques and tools within the Systems Engineering life cycle.
  • Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Current Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience applying commercial products to military applications.
