Manages engineering and facilities maintenance operations for a regional distribution center, focusing on equipment reliability, team leadership, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance technicians, managing contractors, ensuring safety procedures, and maintaining various site commodities.

What you'd actually do

  1. fostering a reliability-centered maintenance culture within your team that ensures high equipment availability and success for the operation of the supply chain facility.
  2. provide strong leadership to your Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Software Technicians, and will cultivate a sense of urgency and quality focus.
  3. deliver solutions for challenging problems, work with building leaders to optimize use of material handling equipment, manage external contractors, be on call for emergencies, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet tough timelines.
  4. develop a continuous improvement ethic in your team by following a daily process that is data driven and focused on root cause elimination.
  5. improve the reliability of the system through ownership in defect handling, breakdown elimination and planning and scheduling.
