  1. Provide leadership, direction, and management of the design, and structural analysis team of 7-10 engineers

  3. Drive technical excellence by upholding technical standards, identifying risks, and cultivating the development of new methods, tools, and capabilities
  4. Provide business development and programs with technical results and associated risks within established cost and schedule

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience or Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience or PhD with 4 years of professional experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of propulsion system physics, design, and analysis
  • Strong understanding and broad application of engineering tools and methods
  • Demonstrated experience and strong understanding / knowledge of the design process, analysis of rocker motor secondary components, as well as the final assembly manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated experience with internal and external customers
  • Ability to travel
