Engineering Manager to build and lead Replit's Anti-Abuse team. This role involves defining the anti-abuse roadmap, hiring engineers and data analysts, and shipping systems to protect the platform from adversarial actors, including AI-native abuse and AI agents. The manager will design identity infrastructure, prototype detections using AI coding tools, define metrics, and operate cross-functionally to make abuse economically unviable.

Skills

Required

  • 6 to 10+ years of engineering experience
  • 2+ years managing teams
  • Hands-on orientation: still write code, review PRs, and prototype
  • Comfort using AI coding tools
  • Experience building detection and enforcement systems at scale
  • Strong product and metrics intuition
  • Experience operating cross-functionally

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI-native abuse vectors
  • Familiarity with payment fraud
  • Experience integrating KYC and identity verification providers
  • Experience at a consumer platform
  • Background in security, trust and safety, or fraud prevention at a hypergrowth company
