What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and grow a team of backend engineers responsible for Bitstamp’s core derivatives trading platform
  2. Set the technical direction for high-performance services including order matching, risk systems, and consensus-based infrastructure
  3. Drive project execution and ensure systems meet SLAs around low latency, data integrity, and uptime
  4. Collaborate closely with product, security, and infrastructure teams to support market expansion and new contract listings
  5. Foster a high-trust, inclusive team culture that prioritizes speed, accountability, and continuous improvement
