Stripe is seeking an Engineering Manager for their LATAM Payments Experiences team. This role will focus on building and maintaining new payment methods for Stripe, with a focus on LATAM and North America. The manager will lead a team of engineers, design and build full-stack solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in engineering management, backend development, and shipping products at scale.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and reason about integration experiences with a strong focus on end-user simplicity and developer experience
  2. Build full-stack solutions across Stripe's ecosystem, including back-end services, and integrations with other Stripe primitives
  3. Engage directly with users to understand their business needs and translate requirements into concrete solutions
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, partnerships, eng platforms, and other engineering teams to deliver these solutions
  5. Recruit top engineering talent in partnership with Stripe’s recruiting team to build a diverse and high-performing team
  6. Lead engineering and design processes, and coaching, mentoring, and supporting your team as they build innovative, user-facing solutions
