What you'd actually do

  1. develop and lead a group of engineers through the entire product lifecycle driving engineering execution to support the U.S. Navy driving technical excellence for positive program impact.
  2. management of time keeping, performance reviews, staffing and resource planning, training, and team engagement.
  3. work with the Engineering Managers and technical leads to ensure the end-to-end technical execution, cost, schedule, quality, and staffing of development efforts across all Strategic Launcher programs.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 8 years of engineering experience or Master's Degree in STEM with 6 years of engineering experience
  • 3 years of professional experience in the defense or aerospace industries
  • 2 years demonstrated success managing technical teams
  • 2 years of experience working in a technical role
  • Strong engineering background
