Engineering Manager, Observability Dept | Spain | Remote

Grafana Labs Grafana Labs · Data AI · United States · Remote · R&D: Observability

This role is for an Engineering Manager in the Observability department at Grafana Labs, focusing on the Grafana Alloy project, which is a distribution of the OpenTelemetry collector. The manager will lead a remote team, foster collaboration with the OpenTelemetry community, and work closely with product and engineering leadership. The role emphasizes managing complexity, aligning stakeholders, and delivering high-quality results in a distributed systems environment. While the company uses AI tools for development, the core function of the role and the team is not AI model development but rather observability tooling.

  3. Collaborate closely with go-to-market to ensure customers and prospects are successful with their Alloy journey.
  4. Work closely with product and engineering leadership to ensure Alloy fits seamlessly into the end-to-end user experience for Grafana cloud products.
