This role is for an Engineering Planning Analyst at Intel, focused on managing the transition of new products from development to high-volume manufacturing. Responsibilities include coordinating startup activities, developing supply plans, monitoring product flow, creating forecasts, performing scenario analyses, driving product setup (BOM, routing), aligning demand with supply, analyzing manufacturing risks, and applying analytics for supply strategies. The role requires proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel and Power BI, experience in demand/supply planning or supply chain management, and skills in supply chain modeling and optimization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading coordination and startup activities for product lines, ensuring a seamless transition from engineering development to production and high-volume manufacturing.
  2. Developing and executing optimized supply plans by integrating data from multiple sources.
  3. Monitoring product flow to ensure delivery commitments are met on time, in the correct quantity, and with the required configuration.
  4. Creating supply forecasts and performing what-if scenario analyses to support decision-making.
  5. Driving product setup activities, including product naming, Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, and routing requirements within planning systems.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or 3-4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience in demand/supply planning or supply chain management within a high-technology environment.
  • Experience with supply chain modeling, optimization tools, or statistical/analytics software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with advanced Excel skills and experience in data management and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Demonstrated experience building and presenting dashboards, charts, and data visualizations to stakeholders.
