This role is for an Engineering Program Manager focused on ensuring compliance with global regulations, including the AI Act, Digital Markets Act, and Data Act, within Apple's Services Engineering. The role involves managing and executing diverse engineering programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams (software engineering, operations, legal), and designing scalable solutions to meet regulatory requirements with desired quality. Key responsibilities include overseeing the QA program lifecycle, acting as a subject matter expert for QA, collaborating on test plans, owning the QA sign-off process, tracking status, reporting to stakeholders, and ensuring audit readiness. The role requires strong stakeholder leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to understand technical impacts related to business requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee the overarching Quality Engineering program lifecycle, facilitating cross-functional coordination and breaking down complex project goals into manageable milestones.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact and strategic subject matter expert for "all things QA" on assigned projects.
  3. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify critical use cases for test plans and strategically plan comprehensive End-to-End (E2E) test coverage.
  4. Own and manage the QA sign-off process end-to-end, driving critical decisions and ensuring product readiness.
  5. Drive continuous status tracking and provide clear, tailored reporting to stakeholders across various levels of seniority.

Skills

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years experience as a Product Manager / Technical Program Manager / SW Architect / SW Engineer
