Figure AI is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to manage complex electrical hardware programs for their humanoid robot. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, driving execution from concept to production, managing suppliers and external labs, and ensuring timely delivery of hardware components. While the company is in AI Robotics, this specific role focuses on the hardware program management aspect, not direct AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work cross-functionally with EE, ME, FW, GSM, systems integration, manufacturing, and vendors to maintain alignment and momentum.
  2. Support DRIs in schedule ownership, surface blockers, and help drive resolution to stay aligned with company goals.
  3. Drive prototyping and build execution (PCBA allocation, design release, bring-up, and logistics), ensuring timely delivery through close coordination across teams.
  4. Capture actions, track progress, follow up relentlessly, and resolve issues without creating noise.
  5. Coordinate external lab testing (EMC, compliance, destructive testing).
