Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineering Program Manager Level 3/4 to support the Strategic Launcher Engineering team within the Fleet Ballistic Missile umbrella. This role involves overseeing end-to-end technical execution, cost, schedule, quality, and staffing of development efforts, acting as a Scrum Master, managing engineering control accounts, creating schedules and budgets, leading proposal activities, managing scope baseline, developing staffing demands, collecting engineering metrics, ensuring technical scope compliance, and identifying/mitigating technical risks. The position requires a STEM degree with relevant experience, experience as a technical project lead, understanding of engineering processes, and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee and manage programmatic execution of the engineering related scope on their program including cost target flow-down.
  2. Act as Scrum Master and remove barriers for the team
  3. Own the engineering control account, collect cost and schedule performance data, and drive corrective actions.
  4. Create and maintain an executable engineering schedule and budget that align with program milestones.
  5. Lead the Engineering proposal activities

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or equivalent experience
  • 5 years relevant experience (Level 3) or 8 years (Level 4)
  • 4 years’ experience as a technical project lead
  • Understanding of Engineering processes with execution experience
  • Experience summarizing and communicating status reports to technical leadership
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • US Citizenship required
