This role is for an Engineering Specialist in Manufacturing at Ford, focusing on managing the Electrical Safety Program, electrical distribution systems, and capital improvement projects. What you'd actually do

  1. Manage Electrical Safety Program (Arc Flash and Shock Hazard) for the facility, including conducting Arc Flash/Shock Hazard study of the facility's electrical distribution system. Provide appropriate arc flash labeling for electrical components. This position is also “Authorized Electrical Engineer” for the plant and implements the program in coordination with the Plant’s Master Electrician.
  2. Must know AutoCAD software and is responsible for maintaining the plant’s electrical distribution system drawings
  3. Responsible for writing and managing annual Capital Improvement Budget (CIB) Projects (MEARS application)
  4. Support the electrical aspect of all facility projects for construction & maintenance, and provide electrical details to the electrical trade leader for execution of the facility projects
  5. Provide electrical/controls support for the Powerhouse and waste treatment. Familiar with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PowerLogic software
