It involves analyzing quality indicators, troubleshooting test equipment, conducting root cause analysis for test failures, and maintaining test equipment and processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. As needed, review quality indicators – REDCRS and Warranty Garage Reports for NE, APR, VO Repair, and FQAs issues; Track concerns and review initial test results/data from all relevant test equipment
  2. Once suspect unit is returned, record any retest of the transmission or defect testing data—along with analysis—then assist garage in determining root cause, and document improvement actions to test equipment
  3. Conduct a monthly review of all critical test point variable trend charts. Verify test point trends and current limits. Investigate or notify correct personnel of any unusual trends. Document charts in a binder for future reference
