Engineering Supervisor

Engineering Supervisor role focused on current model quality improvements and warranty reductions in automotive assembly plants, leading a team to resolve process/manufacturing issues and implement error-proofing technologies. This is a leadership role within manufacturing engineering.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a team of engineers dispersed throughout our assembly plants
  2. Lead data driven and plant floor analysis of current model quality concerns and/or process/manufacturing related issues
  3. Identify, develop, and deliver ICAs, PCAs, and PRAs for current model quality concerns and/or process/manufacturing related issues
  4. Operate cross functionally with Plant Engineering, Product Development, Vehicle Program Engineers, Quality Offices, STA, VME FAE Core and Manufacturing Program Teams, and other groups throughout the company
  5. Engage SMEs and groups/engineers within different teams (FAE and otherwise) for assistance in driving Quality

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering Based Preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience in automotive manufacturing
  • 3+ years’ experience a launch and/or operations capacity
