This role focuses on maintaining and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data within Boeing's Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES) Infrastructure Organization, specifically using systems like CMIS and SIMON. Responsibilities include data validation, system administration, troubleshooting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. It involves developing and documenting requirements, providing training, and managing configuration.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards
  2. Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs
  3. Ensures regulatory requirements are met
  4. Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability
  5. Provides configuration management, coordinates changes, performs assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience with Common Metrology Information System (CMIS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel to process tabular data
  • Ability to document training instructions and user guides
  • U.S. Person status for export control compliance

Nice to have

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems
  • 2+ years of experience with Strategic Inventory Management Online (SIMON)
  • Familiarity with data architecture, and data warehouse concepts
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and delivering projects on schedule
  • Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or a regulated industry
