Engineering Technician II role focused on the repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in a healthcare supply chain setting. Responsibilities include equipment setup, documentation, corrective and emergency maintenance, supporting new production lines, and providing technical support. The role also involves managing the CMMS MAXIMO system for maintenance planning and work order processes, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and information retention policies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Is responsible for the adjustments/setup of the manufacturing equipment and their corresponding documentation.
  2. Provides support to manufacturing for the timely repair of equipment and machinery.
  3. Performs corrective and emergency nonplanned maintenance activities according to the approved methods and documentation.
  4. Participates in the transfer of new production lines.
  5. Provides recommendations and technical support in new projects and OAC.

Skills

Required

  • Technical career or equivalent, applicable to: Mechanics, Electric, Electro-mechanics, Electronics, Metrology, instrumentalist
  • 3 to 5 years of experience and/or related training preferably.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation preferably in the medical industry.
  • Wide knowledge of computer packages.
  • Bilingual, Spanish/English, preferably.
  • Knowledge of the Campus Systems, preferably.
  • Knowledge of Maximo System (Computerized System for the Management of Maintenance), preferably.
  • Knowledge of the GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices )/ISO preferably.
  • Knowledge of emergency and corrective, nonplanned maintenance, calibrations procedures documentation and quality systems, preferably.
