Engineering Technician - Night Shift

Engineering Technician role focused on supporting Parenteral Operations by ensuring efficient setup and operation of Pre-Filled Syringe and Isolator Equipment, including hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a healthcare manufacturing setting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Promote a safety-first, quality-always culture in all tasks and interactions
  2. Improve equipment uptime, line efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  3. Perform condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and provide operational support
  4. Diagnose and repair precision filling equipment with strong mechanical aptitude
  5. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve equipment issues promptly

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills
  • Proficient with basic hand tools
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and proper PPE usage
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods
  • Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Nice to have

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in a related field is a plus
  • Knowledge of FDA and GMP regulations
  • Experience operating high-speed, automated production equipment, preferably Syringe/Vial Filling systems utilizing Isolator technology
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new procedures
  • Experience working in a classified manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
