This role focuses on building Machine/Deep Learning models to provide real-time insights and improve customer experience. It involves working with large datasets, applying advanced analysis techniques, and developing end-to-end analytical solutions. The role also includes exploring research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior members.

What you'd actually do

  1. Making recommendations based on data with excellent visual representations of stories based on data for making critical business decisions.
  2. Exploring research in the data science field and utilizing open source research results for the improvement of customer facing products.
  3. Collaborating with cross functional teams i.e. engineers, managers, stakeholders and identifying opportunities to improve our products and customer experience.
  4. Developing comprehensive understanding of data and complexity of multiple systems to develop a seamless data pipeline which can visualize data at scale with cent percent accuracy.
  5. Building Machine / Deep Learning models.
  6. Working with terradata, hive, spark, tableau, postgres, other big data systems with Verizon grid computing infrastructure.
  7. Mentoring and developing the team.
