This role is for an Enterprise Account Executive at Gong, a company that uses AI to transform revenue teams. The AE will be responsible for acquiring new customers, managing the sales process from lead generation to closing, and acting as a consultative advisor. The role requires a hunter mentality, experience selling complex SaaS solutions to enterprise clients, and a track record of overachieving revenue targets.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive new business growth within a greenfield territory, managing prospects from lead generation to closing, while positioning yourself as a trusted, consultative advisor; build deep relationships with customers to understand their business goals and objectives
  2. Develop tailored account plans for your assigned accounts that align with Gong's overall strategy, identifying key decision-makers, regional nuances, buying processes, current investments, and new revenue opportunities
  3. Effectively communicate Gong's value proposition to potential customers, generating excitement and enthusiasm about our solutions
  4. Continuously refine and optimise messaging to scale our outbound prospecting efforts driving the majority of new opportunities through self-sourced activities
  5. Engage and educate senior executives on the importance of the emerging Revenue Intelligence industry and validate Gong as the leader in this new market
  6. Partner with the SDR, Sales and Sales Engineering teams to develop account-based sales strategies to uncover value for all go-to-market department leaders
