Canva is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their Sales and Success team, focusing on Canva Enterprise. The role involves understanding customer goals, providing tailored solutions, managing sales pipelines, and fostering long-term relationships. The Account Executive will act as a product expert, gather customer feedback to inform the Product roadmap, and simplify complex situations for clients. The position requires experience with a range of customers in a technology company, proven success in managing a full sales cycle, and the ability to navigate complexity and uncertainty in a fast-paced environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will lead with a data-driven approach to identify and reach out to potential customers who are likely to benefit from Canva's products. Analyze market landscapes, trends, and dynamics to translate high-level plans into targeted sales activities.
  2. You will manage pipeline, revenue forecasts, sales activity using Salesforce for maximum efficiency and visibility
  3. You will leverage compelling storytelling and vision transfer, presented through a creative lens, to guide customers on a journey that feels personalized and right for them.
  4. Exhibit a deep love for Canva’s product and an ability to sell creative solutions that address customers’ unique problems. You will gather customer feedback and convey market needs to inform the Product roadmap and provide insights that strengthen our value proposition and enhance the customer experience
  5. Recognize the value of building long-term relationships and strive to create lasting partnerships both with customers and internal cross functional teams (Product, Eng, Post-Sales, Customer Success).
  6. Simplifying complex situations into digestible customer-ready stories and materials using Canva’s worksuite (presentations, doc etc.)

Skills

Required

  • Experience working with a range of customers, from medium-sized businesses to large corporations within a technology company
  • Proven success managing a full sales cycle, including prospecting with a focus on new logo attainment
  • Ability to navigate complexity by understanding and addressing complex business challenges, crafting solutions
  • Talent for creating detailed plans that cover all the bases within intricate organisations
  • Skills to captivate an audience, especially during face-to-face meetings with multiple key players
  • Track record of leading successful (and complex) negotiations
  • Comfort navigating uncertainty and can keep up in a fast-paced environment
