Enterprise Account Executive role focused on growing MongoDB's top clients in the US by formulating and executing sales strategies, resulting in account expansion and revenue growth. This role involves prospecting, managing complex c-level relationships, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to drive customer satisfaction and deal sizes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Proactively, identify, qualify and close a sales pipeline
  2. Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, & technical end users
  3. Navigate complex c-level relationships
  4. Management of an extended team (Account Development Representative, Account Executive, Solutions Architect, Customer Success Manager, Engagement Management, Professional Services Consultant) to drive the account strategy
  5. Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market
  • Demonstrated ability to manage global accounts and run a complex sales process
  • A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Skilled in building technical and business champions
  • Driven and competitive. Possess a strong desire to be successful

Nice to have

  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales, Command Of the Message)
  • Familiarity with databases, develops and open source technology a plus
