Enterprise Account Executive for MongoDB, focusing on new customer acquisition and revenue growth in Indonesia and Bahasa-speaking markets. What you'd actually do

  1. Proactively identify, qualify, and close a healthy, predictable sales pipeline across Indonesia and Bahasa-speaking markets within ASEAN
  2. Strategically prospect into CTOs, CIOs, Engineering/IT leaders, and technical end users, tailoring your value proposition to the needs of Bahasa-speaking stakeholders
  3. Build strong and effective relationships with executive sponsors and operational teams, resulting in multi-year growth opportunities and expanded footprint
  4. Partner with our Solution Architects and work closely with Professional Services and Customer Success to drive successful adoption and long-term value for customers
  5. Collaborate with our enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partners in Indonesia and ASEAN to maximize deal sizes and expand MongoDB’s presence in the region

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of field, quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market, with a focus on expanding new and existing enterprise accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and sell into new lines of business within open accounts
  • A proven track record of consistent overachievement and hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Skilled in building business champions and developing strong executive sponsorship
  • Experience selling in or into Indonesia or other Bahasa-speaking markets; strong understanding of local business culture is a plus
  • Ability to attend the Singapore office 3 days per week and travel regularly within the region as needed
  • Driven and competitive; possess a strong desire to be successful and to build a long-term career in enterprise software sales

Nice to have

  • Previous sales methodology training (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales) is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with databases, developer tooling, cloud, and open-source technology is a plus
