Enterprise Account Executive for Gong, an AI-powered revenue intelligence platform. This role focuses on driving new business growth by selling Gong's solutions to enterprise clients, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. The ideal candidate has extensive SaaS sales experience, a hunter mentality, and the ability to position Gong as a leader in the Revenue Intelligence industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive new business growth within a greenfield territory, managing prospects from lead generation to closing, while positioning yourself as a trusted, consultative advisor; build deep relationships with customers to understand their business goals and objectives
  2. Develop tailored account plans for your assigned accounts that align with Gong's overall strategy, identifying key decision-makers, regional nuances, buying processes, current investments, and new revenue opportunities
  3. Effectively communicate Gong's value proposition to potential customers, generating excitement and enthusiasm about our solutions
  4. Continuously refine and optimise messaging to scale our outbound prospecting efforts driving the majority of new opportunities through self-sourced activities
  5. Engage and educate senior executives on the importance of the emerging Revenue Intelligence industry and validate Gong as the leader in this new market

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of relevant sales experience preferably selling a complex SaaS solution to Enterprise clients requiring a multi-threaded approach
  • Track record of overachieving revenue targets of 1M+ and successfully navigating and closing six figure deals in complex sales cycles
  • Experience selling to senior leaders such as the C-Suite, CROs, and other key go-to-market stakeholders within enterprise organisations (1,000+ employees)
  • Hunter mentality with a passion for and demonstrated success of securing new logos across new categories
  • Proven experience utilising MEDDPICC or a similarly effective value-based selling methodology to address complex customer needs in enterprise sales
  • Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and present them in an approachable and engaging way

  • Experience with Gong.io preferred but not required
