What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and nurture opportunities, build and foster pipeline, close short-term Cloud monthly contracts, and build a strategic enterprise business with complex sales cycles in parallel.
  2. Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of the company and products and secure strategic commercial commitments.
  3. Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers.
  4. Promote the innovation happening around ClickHouse that is powering the ClickHouse Cloud.
  5. Track customer details, including use cases, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience with open-source software business models is preferred, and proficiency in cloud and infrastructure software is a minimum requirement.
  • Strong business acumen and technology focus with outstanding communication both written and oral, negotiation and presentation skills.

Nice to have

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience effectively working remotely in a global, distributed organization.
  • Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers
