Enterprise Account Executive - Automotive

This role is for an Enterprise Account Executive focused on the Automotive industry in Japan. The primary responsibility is to sell Snowflake's data platform, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and achieving sales targets. While the company emphasizes an 'agentic enterprise' and AI as a collaborator, this specific role is in sales and does not involve building or shipping AI/ML models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Become an expert in Snowflake products, delivering discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers.
  2. Become a trusted advisor by understanding customers' existing and future IT roadmaps, driving Snowflake solutions within the market.
  3. Prospect qualification, new customer acquisition, and continuous expansion of existing customers.
  4. Drive sales opportunities for assigned accounts and manage their implementation, expansion, and deepening.
  5. Develop sales strategies using target prospect lists and account plans to achieve sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis for assigned accounts/territories.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of field sales experience in the SaaS industry targeting the automotive industry.
  • Proficient in building relationships with new customers, managing them, developing them, and closing deals.
  • Experience strategically developing new business by leveraging creative prospecting skills.
  • Ability to independently create account plans and sales strategies.
  • Experience in value selling by accurately identifying customer challenges and proposing appropriate solutions and expected outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to approach executives directly and build long-term relationships.
  • Passion for data technology and the ability to proactively study the industry and catch the latest trends.
  • Ability and experience to involve the right people internally and externally to achieve things bigger and faster.
  • Ability to collaborate well with various departments and support each other with a 'One Team' mindset.
