Enterprise Account Executive

This role is for an Enterprise Account Executive at dbt Labs, a company that provides an analytics engineering platform. The role focuses on growing and managing the enterprise customer base in the DACH region, building and closing pipelines, and engaging with technology partners. While the company leverages AI and its platform supports AI use cases, the core function of this role is sales, not AI/ML development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build, manage and close your own pipeline of companies that you believe will benefit from the dbt Cloud offering
  2. Manage, and deepen the dbt Cloud footprint in existing accounts, optimizing our impact on these companies
  3. Engage with technology partners and ecosystem service providers to optimize our impact and reach in the region
  4. Lead and contribute to team projects that develop our sales process
  5. Work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years closing experience in technology sales
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and develop them into a consultative sale
  • Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills
  • The diligence and organizational skills to work long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teams
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment
  • Experience with SQL or willingness to learn

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-sourced software
  • Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt
