Enterprise Account Executive, Cross Border China

Stripe is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for their Cross Border China team. This role involves owning a named account list, developing outbound strategies, managing the full sales cycle, building relationships with executive stakeholders, and working with Product and Engineering teams to drive product strategy. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of software sales experience in the GCN market, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own a named account list and develop account plans for winning and expanding business with mid market and enterprise companies in the Greater China region
  2. Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
  3. Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for upper middle market and enterprise companies
  4. Develop relationships with executive stakeholders at new and existing clients
  5. Work with company leaders from multiple functions (e.g., Engineering, Product, and Finance) to lead complex product workshops and financial analyses

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of software sales experience selling to large users in GCN market, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance
  • Ability to understand the Stripe API and build great relationships with highly technical customers
  • Ability to understand complex requirements and craft custom solutions
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities including comfort with basic modeling
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in both English & Mandarin
  • Deep understanding of the China cross border business landscape
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Strong interest in technology
