What you'd actually do

  1. You will close new accounts while growing existing accounts by always looking for new opportunities.
  2. You will have a direct influence on the data strategy of the most disruptive companies today
  3. You will communicate account strategy to Databricks Japan senior leadership on a regular basis
  4. You will allocate Databricks resources to break into new accounts and grow existing accounts
  5. Meet with C-Level Executives to Practitioner level to understand how Databricks can make an impact on business outcomes

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience with Value Selling Methodologies
  • A creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting motion
  • Sales experience within big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales
  • Proven years of experience exceeding sales quotas

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to Digital Native customers in Japan is preferred
  • Passion for selling a highly technical product in the cloud
