Enterprise Account Executive - Energy & Utilities

This role is for an Enterprise Account Executive focused on the Energy & Utilities sector in EMEA. The primary responsibility is to drive the adoption and sales of Anthropic's AI products to enterprise clients, focusing on securing strategic deals, growing revenue, and acting as a trusted advisor. The role involves contributing to go-to-market strategies, identifying new use cases, managing complex sales cycles, and collaborating with internal teams like Product and Engineering to influence the product roadmap based on customer feedback. While the role is within an AI company and involves selling AI solutions, the core craft is sales, not building or researching AI.

What you'd actually do

  1. Contribute to the Industries team GTM strategy, identifying new use cases within your assigned verticals, winning new business, and sharing feedback with cross-functional teams
  2. Drive strategic expansion within key accounts in established verticals and new logo acquisition within emerging verticals
  3. Break into new accounts and cross-sell into existing business alongside our team of Account Executives
  4. Own a revenue target and all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to close, including outbounding and engaging Tier 1 accounts
  5. Lead with conviction by providing clear recommendations based on deep industry expertise rather than presenting a menu of options
