Enterprise Account Executive role focused on acquiring and growing Databricks customers in the Manufacturing vertical in Japan. The role involves selling complex software deals, understanding customer business needs, and expanding Databricks use cases.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will secure new logos with strategic accounts in the Manufacturing vertical.
  2. You will create a focused and targeted logo acquisition strategy.
  3. Expand Databricks use cases in existing and newly won accounts to maximize impact for customers.
  4. Establish essential C-Level relationships, including Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and Data Science roles, who will, in turn, be your industry advocates.
  5. You will build value in all engagements to guide successful negotiations.

Skills

Required

  • Sales experience in the Manufacturing vertical
  • Experience selling complex software deals
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, value selling)
  • Account planning and management
  • Customer relationship building
  • Negotiation skills
  • Understanding of Data/AI/ML technologies

  • Experience in greenfield hunting
  • Experience consulting with existing accounts for expansion
