Canva is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for the Middle East (Dubai) to build their go-to-market motion from the ground up. This role involves selling sophisticated SaaS and AI solutions to large enterprises, focusing on complex, transformation-led deals. The ideal candidate will have extensive enterprise sales experience, a proven track record of closing large deals, and the ability to build a GTM strategy in a new market. While the role is within an AI-powered company and involves selling AI features, the core function is sales, not AI development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define the enterprise sales strategy for the Middle East. Identify the right segments, accounts, and motions — then go build it.
  2. Lead with a data-driven approach to identify and reach high-value prospects. Analyse market landscapes, trends, and dynamics to translate high-level plans into targeted sales activity.
  3. Own pipeline, revenue forecasts, and sales activity in Salesforce — with full visibility and accountability across the region.
  4. Navigate multi-stakeholder environments, lead transformation-led conversations, and close deals with large, complex organisations. You'll bring structure to ambiguity and guide customers through long, considered buying cycles.
  5. Use compelling storytelling and vision transfer, presented through a creative lens, to guide customers on a journey that feels personalised and right for them. You'll sell outcomes, not features.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience
  • strong track record of closing large, complex deals
  • selling sophisticated SaaS across long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • consistent history of new logo attainment and top performance
  • built or shaped a GTM in a new market before
  • navigating ambiguity and building structure
  • selling at C-suite level and across multiple buying centres
  • leading successful (and complex) negotiations
  • fluent in UAE work rights
