This role is for an Enterprise Account Executive focused on selling Anthropic's AI solutions to Telecommunications organizations and government entities in Japan. The primary responsibility is to manage the full sales cycle, exceed revenue targets, and build relationships with senior leaders to drive AI adoption for digital transformation and improved services. The role requires extensive enterprise sales experience in Japan, particularly within the Telecommunications sector, and the ability to navigate complex government procurement processes. While the company builds AI, this role is focused on sales and customer adoption, not direct AI development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and exceed revenue targets by winning new major Telecommunications accounts and expanding existing relationships across Japan's government entities and Telecommunications
  2. Build and execute territory plans, identifying high-value opportunities across national government ministries, prefectural and municipal governments, and quasi-governmental organizations
  3. Lead consultative sales processes with senior government officials, procurement leaders, and technical stakeholders, positioning AI as a driver for digital government transformation and improved citizen services
  4. Orchestrate internal teams (Product, Engineering, Applied AI, Partnerships) to deliver solutions that meet stringent security, compliance, and procurement requirements
