Weaviate is an AI startup with an AI-native vector database. This Enterprise Account Executive role involves managing the full sales cycle, developing territory strategy, solution selling by understanding prospect pain points and demonstrating Weaviate's competitive edge through its vector search and AI features, engaging with the community, and managing the pipeline. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in infrastructure, databases, or AI/ML, with a proven track record in the US East Coast market. Technical fluency to discuss APIs, LLMs, vector embeddings, and cloud architecture is required, along with strong communication skills and a 'builder' mentality. Experience with sales methodologies and high EQ are desirable. The role is 100% remote with competitive compensation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the end-to-end sales process - from initial outreach and lead qualification to complex contract negotiations and closing.
  2. Develop and execute a strategic plan to penetrate key industries (Finance, E-commerce, Healthcare, etc.) within the region.
  3. Conduct deep discovery to understand prospect pain points and demonstrate how Weaviate’s vector search and AI features provide a competitive edge.
  4. Work closely with our Developer Relations and Marketing teams to leverage our massive open-source community as a source of enterprise opportunities.
  5. Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM records (Salesforce/HubSpot) to ensure predictable revenue growth.
