Enterprise Applications Engineer

Roblox is seeking an Enterprise Applications Engineer to plan, design, implement, and maintain company SaaS applications and tools. This role involves administering applications, owning initiatives, working with cross-functional teams, implementing system changes, writing scripts for automation, predicting downstream impacts, participating in audits, and creating documentation. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of IT experience with 2+ years in enterprise SaaS applications, experience with SSO/SAML/IAM, API integration, Active Directory, and cloud applications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Administer applications, managing the installation, configuration, and upgrades of SaaS solutions in the enterprise applications and collaboration space (including Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Workday, Confluence/Jira, Zoom, Glean, Airtable, and others).
  2. Independently own initiatives with minimal oversight, efficiently translating overarching goals into tactical steps and detailed tasks while delivering results on medium-scale projects.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Security, Legal) to assess business requirements, evaluate possible solutions, and develop scalable and reliable integrations.
  4. Implement SaaS system changes and administer access to systems and information within approved IT security policies, guidelines, and standards.
  5. Write scripts or workflows to assist in automating manual processes.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in the IT space
  • 2+ years of experience in the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise SaaS applications
  • Experience with the implementation and administration of SSO/SAML/IAM systems
  • Experience with API integration work
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Proven experience managing cloud applications and platforms
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written) with both engineering and non-engineering audiences
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving mentality
  • Self-starter with the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges with little to no supervision
  • Capable of juggling multiple responsibilities and prioritizing automation over manual processes
