Samsara is seeking an Enterprise Core Sales Engineer to support senior sellers in growing existing customers and winning new ones. The role involves technical sales, objection handling, custom workarounds, advanced integrations, and hands-on experience. The Sales Engineer will also contribute to the SE Team by sourcing product information, testing alpha products, managing projects, and building process improvements. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in a pre-sales technical role, and experience with technical consulting, cloud software, and hardware integrations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct product demonstrations and facilitate live proof-of-concept trials for prospective customers, and ensure these prospects understand - and are fully utilizing - the Samsara platform.
  2. Work closely with Product Management, and other relevant teams, to help develop the Samsara platform.
  3. Demonstrate the value proposition of Samsara’s products and services along with the platform's core capabilities on-site, remotely via webinar sessions, or at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
  4. Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  5. Have the ability to be organized and analytical, and eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches.
