In this role, you will lead Google Cloud’s strategic engagement with premier manufacturing leaders, driving digital transformation for the industry’s most influential organizations. You will own high-value accounts at the intersection of industrial operations and innovation. You will articulate business value by translating technology into outcomes, including improved OEE, production visibility, and accelerated research and development. Your ability to connect technical capabilities—like AI and machine learning—to commercial impact will be essential to influencing C-suite stakeholders and business leaders.

Responsibilities
- Lead multi-stakeholder engagements with major manufacturing customers, often presenting and communicating directly with C-level, C-suite executives, and business unit leaders. Ensure alignment of Google Cloud solutions with client priorities.
- Build and implement comprehensive account plans to identify, generate, and grow high-value business opportunities. Collaborate closely with customer engineers, cross-functional Google teams, and partners to maximize business growth, expand footprint, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
- Analyze each customer’s technology infrastructure, digital transformation objectives, business drivers, and growth strategy. Use insights to position Google Cloud as a critical partner in driving operational efficiency, innovation, and sustainable business impact.
- Drive measurable business growth by managing the end-to-end business cycle, from opportunity identification to closure.
- Forecast and track pipeline performance, ensuring achievement of business goals while maintaining executive-level client engagement and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company.
- Experience engaging and building relationships with a wide range of internal teams and customer stakeholders, and with working or supporting manufacturing companies.
- Experience managing the full business cycle (e.g., pipeline management, forecasting, reporting).
- Experience leading enterprise account management in manufacturing.
- Ability to communicate in Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in consultative selling to executives in the manufacturing industry, asking insightful questions, presenting forward-looking proposals, and developing multi-year account strategies.
- Experience in supporting large enterprise organizations, expanding existing accounts, securing new customers, and accelerating business growth.
- Familiarity with commercial agreements, structuring multi-year engagements, and facilitating sophisticated business agreements with enterprise clients.
- Ability to qualify opportunities and articulate the value of cloud, data, and AI technologies, aligning solutions to customers’ business issues while showcasing current technology trends and Google Cloud differentiators.
