Enterprise Sales Engineer role focused on providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, and supporting technical evaluations for Datadog's observability and security platform. The role involves partnering with the sales team, owning technical engagement during the trial phase, and closing complex opportunities by articulating the value proposition and technical advantages of the offering.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with the Sales team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision and strategy to customers
  2. Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase. Communicate Datadog’s value based on activities and work with customers on any identified issues or concerns to successful conclusion
  3. Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
  4. Deliver product and technical briefings / presentations to potential clients
  5. Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input both wins and losses

  • Sales Engineering experience
