Datadog is seeking an Enterprise Sales Executive to target and close new business with large, strategic customers. The role focuses on understanding customer pain points in cloud environments and delivering Datadog solutions. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of closing experience in enterprise sales, a proven track record of meeting sales goals, and experience selling into large Fortune 1000 companies. This is a sales role focused on Datadog's observability and security platform for the AI era.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies in Bangalore while running an efficient sales process
  2. Maintain, build and own specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
  3. Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business
  4. Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
  5. Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years closing experience (mix of field selling within mid-market or enterprise)
  • met/exceeded direct sales goals of 1M+
  • operated with an average deal size of $100k+
  • methodology to prospect and build pipeline on your own
  • selling into large Fortune 1000 companies/locally based India home grown conglomerates with the ability to win new logos

Nice to have

  • innovative tech company (SaaS, IT infrastructure or similar preferred)
