Datadog is seeking an Enterprise Sales Executive to target and close new business with their largest, most strategic customers. The role focuses on understanding customer pain points in cloud environments at scale and delivering Datadog solutions. The company positions itself as a leading observability and security platform for the AI era, used by Fortune 500 companies and AI leaders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process
  2. Maintain, build and own specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
  3. Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business
  4. Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
  5. Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory

Required

  • 3+ years closing experience (mix of field selling within mid-market or enterprise)
  • met/exceeded direct sales goals of 1M+
  • operated with an average deal size of $100k+
  • methodology to prospect and build pipeline on your own
  • selling into large Fortune 1000 companies
  • win new logos
  • regular travel to client sites
