Vanta is seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect to design technical solutions for large global Enterprise prospects, focusing on securing technical wins and ensuring seamless implementations. The role involves leading discovery workshops, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and influencing product enhancements. While not directly building AI models, the role requires understanding and leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and impact within the enterprise security context.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with Enterprise AEs and AMs to secure the technical win on Vanta’s most complex, strategic deals.
  2. Lead Discovery and Architecture Workshops to deep-dive into prospect tech stacks and identify technical blockers.
  3. Collaborate with account teams to prove technical feasibility and eliminate risk.
  4. Provide expert guidance on Vanta’s platform and API capabilities, best practices, and integration strategies.
  5. Design comprehensive Technical Success Plans that map Vanta’s platform to complex customer architectures.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum of 5+ years of technical experience
  • 3+ years in a pre-sales role as a Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role
  • Solid understanding of the application development lifecycle
  • RESTful API design concepts
  • Considerable experience in scripting against APIs or building API-based integrations
  • Strong technical background
  • Proficiency in security protocols
  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure
  • Proficiency in software integration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical sales cycles
  • Proven track record of running Proof of Concepts (POCs)
  • Proven track record of driving technical validation
  • Understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC)
  • Ability to map technical solutions to business value
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to have

  • Experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Azure Solution Architect Professional/Google Professional Cloud Architect)
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or .NET
