Boeing Global Servies (BGS) is seeking an Entry-Level Roads and Grounds Worker to join our team in Hertford, NC.

Position Responsibilities:
- Lawn Care: Mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, sod laying, and reseeding turf grass.
- Landscaping & Horticulture: Planting and caring for trees, shrubs, flowers, and flower beds.
- Vegetation Management: Trimming hedges, pruning trees, pruning shrubbery, and weeding landscape beds.
- Site Upkeep: Raking leaves, removing litter, blowing debris, and cleaning work sites.
- Maintenance & Construction: Maintaining walkways, minor repairs to fencing, and installing lawn furniture.
- Seasonal Duties: Shoveling snow, spreading ice melt, and removing storm debris.
- Equipment Care: Operating and performing routine maintenance on mowers, edgers, chain saws, and blowers.
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience using hand tools (rakes, shovels) and power equipment (weed eaters, chainsaws, riding mowers)
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift heavy materials (up to 50+ lbs)
- Knowledge of safety procedures for handling chemicals and operating machinery
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
