Entry Level Site Operations Support - Tool Coordinator

Entry level role focused on managing and coordinating tools and materials within a production environment at Boeing Jacksonville. Responsibilities include processing and moving materials, monitoring work in progress, communicating status, and identifying/solving discrepancies. Requires basic experience in production control, materials management, logistics, and Microsoft Office.

What you'd actually do

  1. Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions.
  2. Monitors work in process.
  3. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
  4. Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
  5. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of experience with Production Control/Materials Management
  • Physical ability to stand for duration of a shift; able to lift, carry, move and manipulate a large volume and variety of parts
  • 1+ years of experience with warehouse or logistics operations
  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Applications

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of Tool Control experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Manufacturing or Quality
  • Experience working in Cribmaster, Andon, and BESSY
  • Experience using lean manufacturing principles
