Epic Beaker Consultant

This role is for an Epic Beaker Consultant within Deloitte's Project Delivery Talent Model. The consultant will be responsible for supporting the Epic Beaker application, including incident support, service requests, optimizations, projects, SU and Upgrades, and maintenance work. The role involves working within an engagement team, interacting with stakeholders, and providing technical guidance. While the "AI & Engineering" team is mentioned, the core responsibilities are focused on Epic Beaker application support, not direct AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Epic support role for the Beaker application, to include on-call support on a weekly rotating basis.
  2. Complete Epic support to include incident support, service requests, optimizations, projects, SU and Upgrades, and maintenance work.
  3. Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.

Skills

Required

  • Epic Beaker Certification in AP or CP
  • Experience in Epic implementation or enhancement processes
  • Experience in application design, workflows, build, troubleshooting, testing, and support.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average
