This role is for a Senior Consultant specializing in the Epic Beaker application, focusing on implementation, enhancement, and support. The position is part of Deloitte's AI & Engineering team, which works on transforming technology platforms and driving innovation for clients. The role involves direct client interaction, incident support, service requests, optimizations, and maintenance for the Beaker application. While the team is named AI & Engineering, the core responsibilities of this specific role are centered around the Epic Beaker system, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Epic support role for the Beaker application, to include on-call support on a weekly rotating basis.
  2. Complete Epic support to include incident support, service requests, optimizations, projects, SU and Upgrades, and maintenance work.
  3. Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.

Skills

Required

  • Current Epic Beaker Certification in AP or CP
  • 5+ years’ experience in Epic implementation or enhancement processes
  • Experience in application design, workflows, build, troubleshooting, testing, and support.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
