This role supports the design, implementation, and operation of an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system, focusing on system administration, data pipeline contribution, configuration, logic development, and integration support. It requires foundational expertise in Oracle Cloud EPM suite and financial concepts, with a focus on technical execution within a financial context.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist the EPM Architect/Admin in the technical administration, maintenance, and support of the core EPM platform, ensuring its stability, performance, and data integrity.
  2. Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines that feed into and from the EPM system, ensuring accuracy and consistency across integrated platforms.
  3. Perform configuration, maintenance, and enhancements within the EPM system as directed, adhering to established technical standards and governance principles.
  4. Develop, test, and maintain business rules, calculations, and workflows within the EPM system under the guidance of the EPM Architect/Admin.
  5. Participate in the execution of the EPM roadmap feature delivery, contributing to technical requirements, data conversions, testing, and other execution tasks.

Skills

Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in EPM system administration, development, or analysis, within a fast-paced environment.
  • Foundational expertise with Planning within the Oracle Cloud EPM suite (PBCS)
  • Ability to operate with limited oversight on assigned tasks and seek guidance on more complex issues or strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A solid understanding of core financial concepts (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, general ledger).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with finance and technical stakeholders.
  • Appreciation for and adherence to engineering best practices, such as version control, audit-ability, and scalability.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion) or other finance-related applications.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools or self-service analytics platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry).
  • Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., SQL) for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
