Equipment Engineer role focused on managing, optimizing, and maintaining test and assembly equipment in a high-volume manufacturing (semiconductor) environment. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment functionality, developing processes, providing technical support, integrating new technologies, and collaborating with teams to improve metrics like OEE, MTBA, and MTTR. Experience with data analysis tools like SQL, Python, R is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Managing test equipment and hardware, ensuring optimal functionality and availability.
  2. Innovating and developing advanced processes for handling equipment, while establishing clear process requirements and specifications.
  3. Assessing, improving, and optimizing processing techniques and methods used in high-volume manufacturing settings, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  4. Providing expert technical support to manufacturing operations, aiding in the resolution of complex issues through comprehensive analysis of variable factors.
  5. Taking proactive measures to resolve critical issues impacting the Technical Equipment Group-Test (TEGT) operations.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation or other relevant technical or engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of schematic/electronic circuitry interpretation
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English communication
  • Skilled in using MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
