This role focuses on designing and evaluating equipment and tooling concepts for Boeing's production system, ensuring compliance with various engineering and regulatory requirements. It involves analyzing technical data, managing configuration, and supporting production readiness and maintenance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supports the evaluation of program and project requirements, develops moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
  2. Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates for equipment and tooling.
  3. Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
  4. Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.
  5. Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 2 or more years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ABET accredited degree, Washington Accord
